ST650 – OBDII Vehicle Tracker

The STU650 is an affordable tracking solution which simply plugs into the vehicle OBD II diagnostic port. Once plugged in, the device starts tracking and monitoring critical diagnostic information about the vehicle and it’s use.

The STU650 is an ideal application for the industries such as vehicle insurance, fleet management, rental, leasing companies and more because of it’s capabilities for sending reports about driving behavior and about alert conditions such as harsh breaking, harsh cornering, excessive acceleration, high speed, towing, or unauthorized removal of the device. In addition to all these, the device can report any error conditions present in the DTC (diagnostic trouble codes) table of the OBD-II protocol.

The STU650 detects motion using the 3-axis accelerometer and supports the quad band GSM/GPRS subsystem allowing the vehicle’s location to be monitored from its server. Because the STU650 utilizes a key algorithm for automatic protocol-detection, the device can getn access to hundreds of critical parameters in real-time.
